  • Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna)

Arjuna is widely used in Ayurveda as the preferred drug for heart health. Arjuna Bark improves blood circulation to the heart tissue, strengthens myocardium (cardiac muscles), and improves its strength to pump the blood(improves EF). It reduces manifestations of heart failure. It increases left ventricular stroke volume index and left ventricular ejection fractions. The study proves that it helps to improve exercise performance and effort tolerance. Terminalia arjuna  bark has antihyperlipidemic and antioxidant actions, the bark contains some phytochemicals like tannins, saponins, and flavonoids which helps to lower serum cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL lipoprotein, VLDL Lipoprotein and atherogenic index.

 

  • DHAMASA (Fagonia arabica) BENEFITS

Dhamasa booti decomposes blood clots as it contains thrombolytic properties that  decrease the chances of brain haemorrhage.  It neutralizes congestion in veins and blood vessels and used for cerebral ischemia. It supports normal liver function and treat stomach pain. It is used alone or in combination with other medicinal plants to treat acute fever.  Research on dhamasa booti has shown that it has anti-cancerous properties and is known to be good against breast cancer, liver cancer, anal cancer, and lung cancer.

  • PUSHKARMOOL (Inula racemosa)

Pushkarmool is  useful to pacify Kapha (water) and Vata (air) Doshas (humors) in body and is best herb for treating cardiac asthma. This is widely used in health issues like Chronic Cough, Asthma, Cold, Sinusitis, Rhinitis, Emphysema, COPD, Lung collapse etc. Pushkarmool is excellent for heart because of its anti-anginal, cholesterol and triglyceride balancing properties. It is also able to control the  low blood pressure. Pushkarmool acts as a blood purifier and cardiac supplement. Therefore, it is powerful herb in blood disorders and cardiac debility.

  • BRAHMI (Bacopa monnieri)

 The ancient Ayurvedic sages, revealed Brahmi’s role in promoting Medhya (intellect), Ayushya (longevity), Rasayana (rejuvenation),Hrdaya (Heart), Balya (strength) Jivaniya (life energy), Nidrajanana (sleep), and Anuloma (redirecting the flow of vata downwards).Brahmi effective in blocking the passage of hydrogen peroxide into cardiac cells and in preventing the development of hypertrophy.

  • MANJISTHA (Rubia cordifolia)

Manjistha or Indian Madder is considered to be one of the best herb for blood-purifying as it is used to break down blockages in the blood flow and remove stagnant blood. Manjishta is also used as cardioprotective and It may express hypotensive properties. like standard “calcium channel blocker” drug , Manjishtha relaxes the spasms of smooth muscles of heart and blood vessels .This spasmolytic activity  suggests the presence of calcium channel blocker(s) like phytoconstituents in manjistha.   • GILOY (Tinospora cordifolia) or Guduchi

Giloy is known as Amrita which  means the ‘root of immortality. The compounds Alkaloids, terpenoids, lignans, steroids are present in Giloy have effective against various disorders, such as diabetes, cancer, neurological problems, fever, etc. As per published literature it is cardio-protective i.e. good for heart as it control the blood pressure and maintain the lipid profile.

  • PUNARNAVA (Boerrrhavia Diffusa) 

Punarnava has antioxidants, wound healing power, anti-inflammatory properties, and can be used for heart health, liver detoxification, urinary tract infection etc. It strengthening the heart muscles by lowering cholesterol levels in the blood and preventing lipid build-up, which in turn reduces the risk of atherosclerosis, heart attacks, heart blocks, blood clots, etc.  Punarnava , by reducing edema, prevent from congestive heart failure as it reduces the workload that’s put on the heart by inducing edemas.

 

  • DALCHINI(Cinnamomum verum)

Cinnamon bark contains some essential oils that make it a natural blood thinner and reduces blood coagulation in the arteries and treats atherosclerosis.  a  review study concluded that a cinnamon dose of just 120 mg per day can reduces levels of  LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides, while HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) remains stable.   Dalchini also check high blood pressure and promote a healthy heart.
